Public access defibrillators are there to be used for someone in cardiac arrest. After a cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and defibrillation reduces someone’s chance of survival.

Charndon Parish Council have one Public Access Defibrillator in the village which is currently maintained by Peter Watts and Allan Coulter. Peter and Allan regularly check the battery is working, the pads are in date and it’s displaying a ‘ready’ status. We are extremely grateful to them for volunteering to do this for the community. Our Defibrillator could be required to save a life.

The location of the defibrillator is on the outside of Charndon Community Hall, Main Street, Charndon. OX27 0BL.
